Create a tree design using the coding simulator 'Blocky'. When finished, Google will give you a date and time that your tree design will be shown! How cool is that?
Why would Google care to expose the world to coding? Why is it important that we, as Americans, start thinking of producing more 'coders' in our country? Where will companies like Google go if they can't find enough good coders in our country for all the apps, programs and games we like and need to use every single day? Why should we be concerned about this?
Please answer these questions and/or make any other points about this Christmas coding experiment in your journal for five minutes minimum.
